We all had fun this year at LTC (Leadership Training for Christ).  The Hilton Anatol, where we stayed, was remodeled and was very nice. The hotel's general facilities have always been very plush, but the rooms have been so so in the past.  Now they are great!  They have flat screen TVs and your own little sculpture.

Jacob and Caleb were both in Bible Reading, Song Leading, Drama, and Large Chorus.  As rewards for their hard work they each received gold medals in every event.  Jacob did great in the drama as Charlie Brown. He had so many lines and learned them all.  Caleb also gave an excellent performance as Linus. The judge even singled him out by writing a special comment on the grading card.

I must say I was a little grumpy and down on LTC this year.  No real specific reason.  I just think I was tired of the extra work on Sunday afternoons.  Once we were there that all went out the window.  LTC has done so much for our boys.  I can't believe how at easy they are standing up and doing things like leading adult singing.
