ImageThe hull is nearing completion after a long setback caused by the hurricane. We got a little bit of water in the garage but the only damage to the boat was a little bit of mildew on the side sitting on the floor. Structurally, all that left to do on the hull is to glue in the mast partner, pictured, and put on the fore deck, sealing the forward buoyancy tank. You can see the center case. The inside is already painted bright white. On the far side you can see the port side buoyancy tank. The black square on the front of the tank is a make shift hatch made from Rubbermaid containers. There is a larger hatch on forward bulkhead. Once the hull is finished the next step will be to build the mast. Then the rudder and dagger board. Then a whole lot of sanding and painting.Image
